We offer High School Equivalency Preparation and Testing as well as Alternative Education High School courses. All students must have their birth certificate, proof of residency, immunization records, and transcripts to enroll.
ADULT EDUCATION: HIGH SCHOOL EQUIVALENCY TESTING AND PREPARATION & HIGH SCHOOL COMPLETION
Adult Education offers individuals 18 and older a chance to earn a High School Equivalency Certificate or GED. Are you over 20 and still want to earn your high school diploma? We offer high school completion to adults who are close to meeting the state’s graduation requirements.We also participate with Michigan Works! so you can find opportunities after you earn your High School Equivalency Certificate or GED. We also offer remedial help in Mathematics and English for adults who hold a high school dilpoma. Why pay more to take a remdial course at college when you can come here for free!
Alternative Education is available for students who are between 15 and 19 years of age. Clare Pioneer High School is a learning environment for those who are either unable to attend a traditional school or who have experienced difficulty in completing their education in a traditional school setting. Students must earn at least 2 credits from PHS in order to receive a Clare Pioneer diploma. Our teachers are highly qualified instructors and our program is aligned with the Common Core State Standards. We offer online courses as well as hands-on classes in unique learning environments with small class sizes and individualized instruction.
