    Scholarship Opportunities:
     
    Delta College Foundation has scholarships available for students planning to attend in the 2019-2020 school year. Please go to www.delta.edu/scholarships to apply or call 989-686-9224 with any questions. Applications are due February 7, 2019.
     
    Michigan Education Association Scholarship applications are available. You must be a dependent of an MEA member or MEA-Retired member in good standing. Please go to MEA's website to access the application and get information on the eligibility criteria. The application deadline is February 21, 2019.
     
    Clare County Chapter Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel will be awarding one $400 scholarship. The student must have a cumulative high school GPA of 2.5 or higher. Applications are available at the Guidance Office. The deadline is February 28, 2019.
     
    Michigan Retailers Association (MRA) has launched a scholarship competition for the 2019-20 school year. Scholarships will range from $1,000 to $1,500 and there are 21 available. To be eligible, the student or their parent must be employed at a business that is a member of MRA. Get more information and apply online at bit.ly/mrascholarships. Applications must be requested by March 15 and submitted by April 1, 2019.
     
    Lake Rod & Gun Club Scholarship is now available. This is one $500 college scholarship to a high school senior. The applicant must be attending a university or college and studying in the fields of: Conservation, Fisheries and Wildlife Management, Natural Resources, Botany and Forestry. Please come to the Guidance Office for more information on how to apply. Application must be postmarked by March 31, 2019.
