    Alternative Education

    We provide quality education (virtual, face to face, and blended) for students between the ages of 15 and 19. We specialize in getting students back on track who were unsuccessful at their traditional high school. Our curriculum is aligned with Common Core Standards and focuses around Tony Wagner's 7 Survival Skills. Our graduation requirements meet those established by the Michigan Merit Curriculum.

         1. Social Security Number

         2. Birth Certificate

         3. Immunization Records

         4. Two Proofs of Residency

         5. Transcipts from previous school

     

    Adult Education

    Our adult education program is intended for individuals 18 and older*. We provide students the opportunity to earn a high school diploma or GED. In order to enroll, please stop by one of our locations to pick up an application packet. Students will need to know their Social Security Number and provide a copy of both their birth certificate and state ID in order to apply.

    Our two locations:

    Clare Pioneer High School: Monday, Wednesday, Friday

    8:15-12:00 (Certified Teacher Instruction Available)

     

    Harrison Michigan Works!: Tuesday and Thursday

    8:15-12:00 (Certified Teacher Instruction Available)

     

     *With administrative approval, individuals of the age of 16 and 17 may be admitted to Pioneer Adult Education. These admissions are not common and require special circumstances. However, no diploma or certificate will be granted ahead of the time applicants would have received the credentials had they remained in school.
