Food Service Update - Free Meals
GREAT NEWS!!! All breakfasts and lunches will be FREE until JUNE 30, 2021, per the US Department of Agriculture (USDA).
All children in the Clare community ages 18 and under (regardless of income). Families are asked to still complete the free/reduced meal application and/or household survey for the 2020-21 school year.
How do I receive these meals?
Face-to-Face Students: Your account will not be charged for the breakfast/lunch you receive each day at school. Every Friday, you will be sent home with meals for the weekend.
Virtual Students and Community Members ages 18 and under:
Virtual students/community members 18 and under can pick up meals for all 7 days on Mondays from 3:30pm-5pm in the bus loop.
When does this begin?
Weekend meals for face-to-face students will be distributed starting September 11, 2020
Pick-up for virtual students began August 31, 2020
Pick-up for community members will begin September 14, 2020
What if my student purchased breakfast or lunch the first week of school before this announcement?
All accounts have been credited for any meals that were charged this school year.

Parents of CPS students: We are collecting email contact information for parents, in an effort to quickly update our information systems and get important updates to you in a timely manner. The form allows for 3 student names - if you have more than 3 children in school, please submit the form again so that we connect your email contact with all your children. Thanks for all that you do for Clare Public Schools.
Second Semester Virtual Registration Now Open!
- Use this form if you are a current virtual student who wishes to remain in virtual school.
- Use this form if you are an in-person student who wishes to move to virtual school.
Registration closes at noon on Tuesday, December 1st. The month of December will be used to make staffing decisions.
If you are a virtual student who wishes to return to in-person school for 2nd semester, please contact the appropriate building principal at your earliest convenience.
Second semester begins on Tuesday, January 26th.
November 2020 Board Meeting
The November 16, 2020 Clare Public Schools Board of Education meeting will take place in the Clare High School Cafeteria at 7:00 p.m. Attendees must wear face coverings and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
